New Clinical Computer System

Due to moving to a new computer system for patient records, from Monday 16th May we are running an urgent and emergency only service.  We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause patients. We expect this to last for about 4 weeks.

All online access to the practice, for prescriptions, appointments and record access is now switched off.  Any patient who had access to these services will have to sign up again once we are live in our new system.  We are sorry for the inconvenience this will cause.

Welcome to Ibstock & Barlestone Surgeries

Welcome to our practice website.  There's lots of useful information on this site about our practice and your health.  If you're new to the area we would love to have you as one of our patients. Please see the 'New Patients' part of this site for details.

Both our surgeries provide a full range of GP services although due to the much bigger size of Ibstock House Surgery there are some services which can only be provided there and we ask Barlestone patients to pop up to Ibstock if they need one of those. At Barlestone we also have a dispensary.

Our team includes 7 GPs, an emergency care practitioner, 3 nurses, 3 health care assistants, an operations manager, a finance & business manager, plus a team of receptionists and admin staff. We offer high quality care to all our patients.

We are a training practice and so we regularly have fully qualified doctors who are now training to become GPs working with us. We also regularly participate in research studies to help improve medicine for everybody.

We provide a comprehensive range of services to our patients including child immunisations, care for pregnant ladies, heart disease, diabetes, Asthma care, travel advice and vaccinations and smoking cessation clinics. We also do minor surgery procedures.
